For store assistants deployed on your website, StorBell may collect visitor chat messages, contact details submitted by shoppers (name, email, phone), and interaction metadata to power lead capture and conversation history features.

- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send transactional emails (account, billing, alerts)
- Deliver AI assistant responses and lead capture on your store
- Analyze usage patterns to improve product features

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers — Stripe (billing), Supabase (database), OpenAI (AI responses), Retell AI (voice), Upstash (rate limiting), and similar infrastructure partners who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of StorBell and its users.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided to affected users.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation logs and lead data are retained per your subscription plan limits. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
5. Cookies and Tracking
StorBell uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage. The embeddable widget may set a session cookie on your store visitors' browsers to maintain conversation continuity. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
